Civil & Concrete Works for Flotation & Leaching areas -

  • Rougher Scavenger Floating: Construction of foundation and pedestals to carry precast concrete cells 55T each, sumps, ground slabs and retaining walls,
  • Concrete Thickener 75M Diameter: Construction works including bulk excavation to lay foundations for reclaim chamber and tunnel, installation of precast tunnel sections, bulk fill to underside of graded ground slab, excavate form reo and pour ring 236M x 1.0M wide x 2.5 M deep using purpose built steel formwork shutters, graded ground slab to underside of thickener tank base,
  • Tailings Leach Tanks: Construction of ring beam foundations to carry tanks, including ground slabs, equipment foundations and pedestals, ground slabs, sumps and retaining walls, HDPE lining to underside of steel tanks upon completion of ring beam backfill,
  • Floating Tailings Leach Tanks: Widen existing ring beam foundations by 500mm to accommodate new tanks including ring beam backfill and installation of HDPE liner to underside of steel tank bases, sumps, equipment foundations and pedestals, ground slabs and retaining walls,
  • Tailing Thickeners x 4: Construction of foundations and pedestals to carry structural steel tank columns, sumps, ground slabs and major retaining walls including 4.5M high curved wall section,
  • Reagents Storage: Construction of ring beam foundations to carry tanks, including ground slabs, equipment foundations and pedestals, ground slabs, sumps and retaining walls, HDPE lining to underside of steel tanks upon completion of ring beam backfill,
  • Lime Mixing and Storage: Construction of ring beam foundations to carry tanks, including ground slabs, equipment foundations and pedestals, ground slabs, sumps and retaining walls, HDPE lining to underside of steel tanks upon completion of ring beam backfill,
  • M1-M2 Retaining Walls: Construction of major retaining walls between areas walls range from 6M high to 12M high works include bulk excavation including rock, reinforced concrete foundations, wall concrete, bulk backfill and compaction to design RL’s,
  • MCC/Gold Room: Construction of foundations designed to carry precast concrete wall panels, installation of precast wall panels, earthworks to underside of ground slabs and plinths,
  • Residue Disposal System: Works carried out at raw water dam, pump station foundation and slabs, raw water tank foundations, pipe culvets, substation and transformer foundations.
