- Richard Eden, Managing Director
For over twenty two years, Richard has worked in the maintenance and construction industries across Australia and has held senior management and directorship roles in several major contracting companies in recent years. With a strong focus on solid contract and business management and a commitment to excellence in client service, he brings a broad range of experience to the boardroom from the mining, oil & gas, government, utilities and defence sectors including construction, maintenance and facilities management contracting.
- Ivan Ruefli, Director, Services
Ivan has more than twenty years of experience in the Civil, Marine, Residential and Commercial Construction Industries. This experience is founded on formal training in Civil Earthworks in the US Military, a Bachelors Degree in Science and a Masters Degree in Project Management. He has successfully managed major projects in Australia and overseas and has technical expertise in the specification and application of rehabilitation solutions for many types of structures.
- Gary Reid, Director, Construction
As part of the change in shareholder group, Gary Reid joined the Central Systems board as the Director responsible for Construction projects. Gary has over 20 years experience in civil and concrete projects for the infrastructure, commercial building, mining and oil & gas sectors in Queensland, North Territory and Western Australia. Having worked his way up from the tools he is intimately experienced in every aspect of civil and concrete construction which underpins more than 10 years of experience as a Site/Project Manager on packages up to AUD$150M. Regarded by his peers as one of the most driven and successful civil/concrete project managers in WA, he is a welcome addition to Central Systems to oversee the projects of our Construction division.
- Michael Kenyon, Chief Financial Officer
At the commencement of his career, Michael spent over five years in two of the Big Four Accounting Firms,Ernst & Young and Pricewaterhouse Coopers working in Corporate Recovery and Corporate Finance. In 1997, he moved into private enterprise as Group Financial Controller of Vysarn Pty Ltd, a diversified industrial group. Michael was then appointed as the General Manager of one of Vysarn’s subsidiaries, TL Engineering in 2000 and subsequently bought that business with two other partners in 2004. In 2007, he became Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of ASX-listed Forge Group Ltd and subsequently became a director of Forge subsidiary, Cimeco Pty Ltd, a multi-disciplined service provider to the construction industry. In 2010, Michael took up the CFO position at ASX 300 company Matrix Composites & Engineering Pty Ltd, a specialised manufacturer to the offshore oil & gas industry. Michael is a Chartered Accountant, member of the Institute of Company Directors and certificated member of Chartered Secretaries Australia.
- Bennet Fowler, Business Development Manager
Bennet joined Central Systems at the start of 2012 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Business Development Manager. Through customer focus and being results driven, Bennet has achieved many accolades including top sales representative for Australia in 2011 for Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia. Together with this motivation and passion for his chosen field and over nine years experience in sales and account management, Bennet is a valuable member of the Central Systems team.
- Ian Brann, Business Systems Coordinator
Ian commenced with Central Systems in December 2007. He has fourteen years in the Energy and Mining Construction industries, including working for Veritas DGC. Ian has worked in Quality Assurance and OH&S throughout his entire career and brings widespread experience to Central Systems. Ian has a certificate in occupational health & safety, a diploma in safety management and is a qualified training instructor. His current role sees him focused on the management of Central Systems quality accreditation, business systems development, compliance and document control and management - all critical areas to business success.
- Bill Bertuol, HSE Coordinator
Bill is a tertiary-qualified professional, who has worked in the resources industry for the last 25 years both in Australia and overseas. This includes having worked for large, multinational mining companies at underground/open pit gold mines in operations roles and for large mining construction projects which have incorporated structural, mechanical and piping (SMP), electrical, earthworks, drill and blast and civil work in Western Australia. During this time, Bill has worked for the client, for EPCM’s and for mining construction companies on large mining projects, mostly in WA, where he’s actively participated in project start-ups, the management of contractors and sub-contractors, and the management of projects as a site safety manager and superintendent. Bill holds a Master of Commerce, a Grad Dip in HRD and a Dip in OHS.
- Darren Harley, Manager - Protective Coatings
With more than 25 years experience in the Defence, Marine, Structural, Oil, Gas and Mining Industries Darren brings a wealth of knowledge in all Coatings Systems & Applications ranging from general Industrial to specialised chemical resistant and fire proof applications. As a Senior Manager he has been involved in many major projects over his career in the UK, New Zealand & Australia. These project have included the refit & refurbishment of the London Underground Tube and many stock refits of naval vessels in the UK & Australia. Darren has also been involved from concept to completion on a variety of major Mining and Oil & Gas projects within Australia. Darren’s strong leadership and experience ensure safe and high quality delivery of service to our clients.
- Sergio Spezzacatena, Manager - Maintenance Services
With more than fifteen years experience in the facilities maintenance and commercial building sector within Western Australia, Sergio brings with him a broad range of experience and a committment to excellence in customer service. He has held supervisory and senior roles with companies such as Transfield Services, Simon Engineering and Cimeco and is a specialist in building maintenance, refurbishment and management services with medium to large scale asset portfolios.
- James Miller, Project Manager
With a Diploma of Engineering (Civil) and more than seven years experience in civil/concrete construction projects in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, James brings formal engineering expertise and hands on field engineering experience to the Central Systems team. His resume includes resource/mining projects in the Pilbara, power generations in southwest WA and infrastructure projects including concrete bridge and major drainage structures on the New Perth the Bunbury Highway.
- Rohan Healy, Project Manager
Rohan offers widepsread experience in the civil maintenance, concrete cancer reinstatement and large concrete placement. His career includes extensive mining, power generation, infrastructure and marine related civil projects. Starting his career on the tools, Rohan has spent the past twelve years in senior supervisory and management roles, working on various concrete projects throughout regional WA and Perth metropolitan regions. He has been responsible for various remedial projects for Central Systems and is conversant with estimating, planning and site management.
