Centrals were contracted to undertake extensive construction of additional concrete slabs, drains, plinths and bunds to upgrade the plant to the international cyanide containment code (ICMC). Construction of additional event ponds and in ground services including extensive earthworks and pipe laying.

In addition to civil scope, project also included extensive demolition works and re-installation of all associated structural steel, S/S piping, HDPE piping, mechanical equipment, electrical cabling, instrumental, signage and labelling.
