Central Systems have undertaken complete removal of existing glass flake coating from the internal of Six CIL tanks using UHP water and abrasive blasting. Our project team have then participated in the construction of coating specification design and the performance of the works involving specialised Protective Coatings, Jotun Chemflake 11, International Polibrid 705-E and AUS Polyurea to the internal of all CIL Tanks.
Particular attention is applied to the preparation and application of the protective coatings to assure that a class 3 (AS 1627.4) blast is achieved and the various paint thicknesses are met through the different stages of the specialised coatings steps. Our client has now awarded the execution of the mechanical repairs as well as the coating works to Central Systems on subsequent tanks in order to achieve a seamless and fully accountable execution process.
