Civil works for the Ball Mill and Flotation included;
Ball Mill Foundation
Bulk earthworks that involved excavation and clearing and removal of all top soil to designated site and respreading. Import structural fill, level and compact. Protection of concrete from ground soil with water proofing polythene sheet.
Concrete works included construction of foundations, pedestals, pits, bund, sumps, support foundation and other miscellaneous structures/works. Supply and installation of re-bar and formwork, anchor bolts, foundation and blinding concrete, after setting of concrete curing of the concrete surface using a curing compound.
Precast Cell Bases
Constructions of precast cell bases consist of manufacturing of precast bases at a yard outside of Mt Isa Mine as per the project specifications. Site clearance and preparation of the designated area for installation. Transportation of large precast bases to site and the installation of bases with heavy duty cranes to the designated positions.
